Four Years Later: 1966 Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint Project
10/12/2015 Update: Almost four years after we last featured it, this Alfa Romeo 2600 (now listed as a 1965 with chassis AR825390) is now on offer at the opposite end of the USA in what looks like very similar condition. The photos are much better this time and show the rocker rust and other details of the interior and exterior (added here below). This 1994 Legend LS Coupe is a rare factory 6-speed model that’s said to have 145k original miles. Midnight Metallic Blue looks great, overall condition appears very good and complete dealer service records as well as fill-up/MPG documentation from new are included. $1K in PB Blaster: 1969 Lotus Europa Project
This 1969 Lotus Europa had been garaged for 30 years before the seller’s purchase. In their two years of ownership, the car has been completely dismantled and refinished with the seller claiming nearly $1,000 in penetrating oil alone. Aside from various fasteners and carpet, the car is said to be complete. Find it here on Craigslist in Rocky Top, Tennessee for $3,500 or trade for listed vehicles. Orange Glow: 1970 Datsun 510 2-Door
This 1970 Datsun 510 was the recent recipient of a ~2.5 year restoration, during which time every nut and bolt looks to have been addressed. It has been thoroughly upgraded with several period-correct parts. With so many of these showing up as either restomods with modern mills or rusty projects, it is refreshing to see an example such as this, which has been brought back without significant sacrifice to its 70s charm. Find it here on Craigslist in Overland Park, Kansas for $21k.
