Final Year Creampuff: 32K Mile 1988 Fiero GT 5-Speed
This 1988 Fiero GT This 1988 Fiero GT (VIN 1G2PG1199JP225625) is a final year model with 32k miles from new. These 1988 models offer a host of improvements over earlier cars, notably a much improved suspension design that finally allowed the platform to capitalize on its promising layout. These flying-buttress GT models are our favorites from a design perspective, and this one’s V6/5-speed drivetrain combo is another big plus. Find it here on Craigslist in Euharlee, Georgia for $13,900.
Parked in 1988: Non-Running 1977 Porsche 911S Project
This 1977 Porsche 911S is said to have been parked in 1988 and was just recently pulled from storage. The car sounds to remain with the original owning family, and is claimed to be matching-numbers with a solid undercarriage and floors. Though non-running and rough, it does look to be complete. Find it here on Craigslist in Lakewood, California for $15k. Special thanks to BaT reader rbtempe for this submission.
Ex-US Forestry Service: PTO Equipped 1982 Rokon Mototractor
This 19882 Rokon Mototractor is described as a former US Forestry Service model that was restored by the previous owner. It sounds to have been used little since completion, and the seller says that it’s just recently been gone through again in preparation for sale. Find it here on Craigslist in Bitterroot Valley, Montana for $3,700. Special thanks to BaT reader Visser, G. for this submission.
Yellow to Navy: 1975 Maserati Bora 4.9L
This 1975 Maserati Bora 4.9 (chassis AM11749US930) is a claimed matching-numbers example with papers that show it spent the majority of its life in California. Original yellow was repainted to this gorgeous although imperfect navy blue. The mid-mounted 4.9 liter V8 is the preferred power plant and these cars could be Maserati’s peak–no doubt it’s one of the great 1970s supercars. Find it here on eBay in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with reserve not met.
