Air Grabber 383: Dad’s Matching Numbers 1969 Plymouth Road Runner
This 1969 Plymouth Road Runner (chassis RM21H9E157259) is described as a rust-free, numbers-matching, lifetime Southern California car with a factory 383/727 combo, 3.23 Sure-Grip rear and Air Grabber hood. Offered by the original owner’s son, the car wears an older, professional restoration that appears to be holding up well 3,000 miles and more than 10 years later. Find it here on eBay in Maricopa, Arizona with a $30k BIN.
$1500 & 15K Miles: Complete 1972 Mazda 1800 Wagon Project
This 1972 Mazda 1800 wagon is said to be in very good shape following more than 30 years of garage storage. Running condition isn’t mentioned, but it’s sure to need some recommissioning after so much time sitting. Sold with paperwork dating back to new, the seller further claims that it has only 15k miles. Find it here on Craigslist in Grandview, Washington for $1,500. Special thanks to BaT reader Ed T. for this submission.
Honda S2000 Swapped 1972 Datsun 510 Four Door
This 1972 Datsun 510 four door runs a professionally installed Honda S2000 F20C and 6-speed swap along with big Wilwood brakes, coilovers, camber plates and more. Said to be rust-free and fully functional, this swap sounds like an outrageous amount of fun provided it’s really been done properly. Find it here on Craigslist in Escondido, California for $15k OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader Ashlin W. for this submission.
California Coupe: 1967 Mercedes 250SL 4-Speed
This 1967 Mercedes 250SL is an interesting “California Coupe” model equipped with a folding rear bench in place of a factory convertible soft top, with the only available weather protection offered by the W113 chassis’ signature Pagoda-roofed hardtop. A European market car with a 4-speed manual, these mid-range 250 models were built for only 13 months between December of 1966 and January of ’68, all (or nearly all) fell within the 1967 model year. The seller says this example has plenty of power, and photos show a handsome, fully stock-looking car. Find it here on Craigslist in Scottsdale, Arizona for $69,500.
