Extra Liters: Euro Market 1989 Mercedes Benz 2.5-16 in the US
This 1989 Mercedes Benz 190E 2.5-16 (VIN was recently imported from Spain and is said to be in excellent mechanical condition despite a high-ish 183k kilometers. Recently cosmetically restored, the car wears resprayed, factory correct deep blue paint–US spec 2.3-16 cars were only available in black or champagne, and never with this later model’s larger 2.5 version of the Cosworth motor. Find it here on eBay in Allentown, Pennsylvania with no reserve.
Veteran Camper: 1987 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia
This 1987 Volkswagen Vanagon (VIN WV2ZB0251HH098500) is a Canadian-market model that made the border crossing a few years ago. It looks good sporting a few tasteful upgrades including a fresh GoWesty engine that should provide both improved power and reliability. These later model vans tend to be beat down rather well these days, so it’s nice to see one that has been used but cared for. Find it here on eBay in Bellevue, Idaho with a $21,500 BIN.
Two Owners & 16K Miles: Sharp 1975 Jaguar XJ6L
This 1975 Jaguar XJ6 XJ6L (chassis UG2T59042) is listed as a one-previous-owner, 16k mile example with what sound to be largely original and very well preserved cosmetics. Further claimed to have excellent mechanicals and cold-blowing A/C, a large gallery of well shot, high resolution photos do seem to support the extraordinary mileage claims. Find it here on eBay in Portland, Oregon with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader Lance S. for this submission.
