Grownup WRX: 5-Speed 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Wagon
This 2005 Subaru Legacy GT wagon (VIN 4S3BP676856311360) is a rare 5-speed manual transmission-equipped example. Although mileage is not low at nearly 180k, recent maintenance and service included fitment of a new timing belt, water pump and a rebuilt turbocharger. Cosmetics appear to be holding up pretty well, and it’s said to drive very nicely. Power comes from what’s largely the same motor as used in the WRX STI, and these cars offered five-second 60 MPH sprint capability and nice handling right out of the box. Find this one here on eBay in Everett, Washington with reserve not met.
307/5-Speed Swapped: 1963 Chevrolet Nova Wagon Restomod
This 1963 Chevrolet Nova wagon (chassis 302350015058) is said to have had thousands invested in both cosmetics and mechanics, the latter including fitment of a later production 307ci V8 paired with a Doug Nash 5-speed manual transmission. While it’s said to need minor work to be complete, what exactly needs finishing is not clear. Still, it’s said to run well, and receipts are included. Find it here on eBay in Hacienda Heights, California with reserve not met.
Del Sol Ichiban: Spex Elf Converted 1979 Honda Civic
This 1979 Honda Civic wears a rare Spex Elf body conversion, underneath which rests a swapped-in 1.8 liter first gen Prelude motor. Designed and built in Canada, only 20 of these kits were made, and the fiberglass body also includes a removable two-position hardtop. Having been stored for over two decades, the car appears to be pretty well-preserved, and while it currently runs, it'll require basic sorting before being roadworthy. Find it here on eBay in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada with no reserve.
Poly 318/3-Speed: Ex-Fire Chief’s 1962 Dodge Dart Wagon
This 1962 Dodge Dart station wagon is an ex-Fire Chief’s car from the interestingly named town of Carrizozo, New Mexico. Described as largely rust-free, a restoration was started several years ago but never finished. The factory broadcast sheet is included, and both the light and massive, fender-mounted siren still work. Find it here on eBay in Santa Teresa, New Mexico for $9,750 OBO.
