Price Drop Update: One of 104 1990 Nissan Autech Zagato Stelvio
2/24/2016 Update: This 1990 Nissan Autech Zagato 3.0 Stelvio is chassis 40 of 104 built. Based on the Y31 chassis Leopard (more familiar to US readers as the Infiniti M30), that car’s base components were shipped to Italy where it was fitted with this typically challenging Zagato bodywork. Tuned to 320 HP, the turbo V6 made these among the most powerful Japanese cars of the day, at least on paper, while the “gentleman’s agreement” of 280 PS advertised maximum was still in effect. Nearly two years on, mileage remains unchanged at 41k, but the price has been dropped by a full 12k GBP. Find it here on eBay in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England for 28k GBP (~$39k USD today) OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader Goofer for this submission.
Museum Quality Landmark: 58K Mile 1984 Toyota Camry LE
This 1984 Toyota Camry LE (VIN JT2SV16E1E0209136) is described as a great running and driving car that’s solid and in need of nothing. Fluids were changed upon the seller's purchase two years ago, and mileage is reported to be an accurate 58k. Though not a particularly exciting model in its own right, the car looks remarkably well-preserved inside and out and is almost certainly one of the nicest left anywhere in the world. Find it here on eBay in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with no reserve.
Grand Custom: FE Big Block/6-Speed 1960 Ford Starliner
This 1960 Ford Starliner is described as a recent, frame-off custom build that utilized a dry, Arizona-sourced example as its basis. Built for two years only, these cars are rare, and very attractive even in stock form. It sounds as if the builder/seller is used to catching flak for this one, but we think it looks incredible, and admire their attitude–quoting the ad: “built as a hotrod, no apologies.” Power comes from a stroked Ford FE big block/6-speed combo, backed up by four wheel discs and a power-assisted rack. Notably, the seller says that it’s free of vibrations, rattles and wind noise. Very nice. Find it here on Craigslist in Camas, Washington for $44,950. Special thanks to BaT reader Anthony F. for this submission.
Sorted Euro Market 5-Speed: 1973 Citroen SM
This 1973 Citroen SM (chassis 00SC2113) is a very desirable 5-speed manual European swivel headlight car that’s claimed to be in excellent, rust-free condition. The car has received a number of subtle, sensible reliability upgrades, as well as new suspension and brake spheres within the past three years. The seller provides a short video which has been embedded below, and the car sounds as good as it looks. Find it here on eBay in Carlsbad, California with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader AMF for this submission.
