Revert to Stock: Modified 1967 Mazda Cosmo L10A
This 1967 Mazda Cosmo (chassis L10A10233) is a very rare first year Series 1 car that’s been given a full restomod treatment, including fitment of upgraded brakes, a bigger 13B rotary engine, later gearbox, modern wheels, seats, and other changes. Though it appears to be in good condition, we think it presents an excellent opportunity to return to stock–at least the cosmetic changes. Find it here on eBay in Gold Bar, Washington with reserve not met.
One of 500: 34K Mile 1986 Dodge Omni GLHS
This 1986 Dodge Omni GLHS (VIN 1B3BZ18E5GD250164) is one of 500, final evolution S variants made. The car is said to include all original shop manuals and books, with a quoted 34k and change miles. These Shelby-tuned cars were fitted with an intercooled 2.2 liter four producing 175 HP, as well as suspension upgrades, model-specific wheels, and a subtle bodykit incorporating foglights in the deep front valance. Find this one here on eBay near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for $13,500 OBO.
Slow Car Fast: 1975 Citroen 2CV Racer in Nashville
This 1975 Citroen 2CV has been prepped for circuit race duty, but apart from a big ride height drop, gutted interior, new paint, and a few other small changes, it remains all stock including wheels, tires, and engine. A RHD car, sadly it doesn’t remain street legal. Find it here on eBay in Nashville, Tennessee with no reserve beyond an unmet $7,500 starting bid. Special thanks to BaT reader PGN for this submission.
550+ Pound Feet: Blown Straight-Eight 1938 Buick Street & Salt Flat Build
This 1938 Buick Coupe was built to compete at Bonneville and the Maxton Mile, all the while remaining somewhat streetable. Unusual enough in that this model is rarely hot rodded, the car’s mechanicals are even more interesting–namely its Magnuson supercharged 358ci straight-eight and Tremec 5-speed drivetrain combo. No time slips are included, but the XXO/BVGC class (modified OHV cylinder head, Blown Vintage Gas Coupe) record is just north of 151 MPH. Find it here on eBay in Campbell, California with reserve not met.
