Proto ATV: Nicely Preserved 1971 Honda ATC90

a

This 1971 Honda ATC90 is a third model year example of the vehicle widely credited as the first ATV. There were earlier ATV-like machines of course, but the ATC was arguably the first to offer go-anywhere performance within a neatly packaged, easy-to-ride, reliable, attractive, and compact package. This one appears to be in remarkably well-preserved condition, and a similar, slightly scruffier (but still very nice) bright green example is also available separately. Find the red one here on eBay in Staten Island, New York with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission.

Weber Swapped Driver: 1964 Maserati 3500 GTi

a

This 1964 Maserati 3500 GTi (chassis AM1012818) is a very late production, final model year example that’s said to be one of the last eight built. Although described as matching-numbers, the gorgeous twin cam six has had its original Lucas mechanical fuel injection swapped out for earlier, pre-1961 style triple Webers. Benefiting from a recent tuneup, the seller says it runs and drives well. Cosmetics are driver-quality, and are described as mostly original. Find it here on eBay in Santa Barbara, California with reserve not met.

One Family 1953 Buick Special w/ 54K Miles

1953 Buick special 12,500 obo

This 1953 Buick Special is described as a two owner, one family car with 53k and change miles from new. A straight-eight/three-on-the-tree example, the seller says that “all running gear is nearly perfect,” adding that bodywork, stainless, chrome, and the interior are all in good shape. The car has been repainted at some point, but looks like an attractive, well-kept driver in photos. Find it here on Craigslist in Sherwood, Oregon for $12,500.

Running 1949 Lincoln Cosmopolitan Project w/ Spare Flathead V8

1949 Lincoln Cosmopolitan

This 1949 Lincoln Cosmopolitan Club Coupe retains its original (or at least correct) 336.7 flathead V8, and though not driven on the street for some time, the car does run and move under its own power. A spare flatty and automatic trans are included, and paint is an older respray of its original color. The seller admits that it will need both cosmetic and mechanical work, but unless the car is a total wreck in person, there’s an awful lot to like here for the price. Find it here on Craigslist in Spokane, Washington for $6,950.
