Super Beetle: V8 Swapped Widebody Volkswagen Bug w/ C4 Corvette Guts
This 1971 Volkswagen Beetle has been heavily modified, now running a custom tubular steel chassis with Corvette suspension and a fuel-injected, 400 horsepower 350 at the front. Described as a professional job, the car is a whopping nine inches wider than a standard Super Beetle, and despite a few iffy details, looks really cool–especially from the rear. Find it here on eBay in Tampa, Florida with a $17k BIN.
Great Spec: 1993 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins Turbodiesel 5-Speed 4×4
This 1993 Dodge Ram 3500 (VIN 3B7MM33C5PM170309) features a Cummins six-cylinder 12V turbodiesel, 5-speed, and four wheel drive, and is described as a mechanically excellent, turnkey driver with 124k miles. Though not perfect, the truck looks well-kept, and its spec is both excellent and somewhat rare. It’d make a fantastic vintage race car tow rig, or could be used to haul a fifth wheel camper just as easily. Find it here on eBay in Vancouver, Washington with no reserve and fast bidding.
Coral Red Survivor: All Original 1956 Volkswagen Beetle
This 1956 Volkswagen Beetle is offered by its second owner, who recently pulled it from a garage in northern Sweden where it had sat for nearly 50 years due to a distributor issue. Described as completely original including excellent Coral Red paint, the roof-mounted spotlight was added from new, as rural, northern roads could be dangerous thanks to weather conditions as well as moose and reindeer. Now running on the original motor, 55k recorded kilometers are believed to be original, and the car looks excellent throughout in photos. Find it here on eBay in Hedemora, Sweden with reserve not met.
Potential Bargain: $3500 1989 BMW 750iL w/ Full Service History
This 1989 BMW 750iL is a range-topping V12 car that’s sold with all maintenance records from new. The seller says it came from Texas earlier this year, and adds that it’s rust-free, fully functional, and in excellent mechanical condition with no warning lights or other issues. Chrome M parallels are said to be genuine OEM items wrapped with new rubber, and originals are included as well. Otherwise, apart from clear front corner lenses and an aftermarket head unit, the car looks completely stock. The seller drives the car daily, and adds that they wouldn’t hesitate to take it cross country as-is. Find it here on Craigslist near Boston, Massachusetts for $3,500.
