Well Used & All Original: Sorted 1963 TVR Grantura MkIII
This 1963 TVR Grantura MkIII (chassis 85621963) is described as all-original and complete, and despite its slightly scruffy looks, is said to be in very good running and driving, road-ready condition. Faded paint is really the worst of the car’s cosmetic issues, but considering its originality and usability, it’d be a shame to rub down to the bare fiberglass and start again. Find it here on eBay in Norwich, Connecticut with reserve not met.
Pivotal Year: Low Kilometer 1989 Lada Samara in Florida
This 1989 Lada Samara (VIN XTA290800K046113) is said to have recently been imported from Europe, where it remained with its original owner and presumably accumulated most of its claimed ~68,000 kilometers (about 42k miles). Further described as always garaged, all-original, and immaculate, the latter is probably overselling it a bit, though the car does look to be unusually well-kept for a “disposable” Soviet hatchback. Portare un Periscopio: Abarth OT 1300 Replica Bodywork
This Abarth OT 1300 replica bodywork is described as an exact copy of the original Simca/Fiat based cars’ of which only 50 were produced through 1965 – ’67. Only fiberglass body panels are offered in the sale, though the seller will provide contact info for a potentially available windshield, as well as instructions (more or less) for modifying a Fiat 850 chassis, which they claim will accommodate the panels nicely. Find it here on eBay in Vienna, Ohio with no reserve and bidding at $1,500 at the time of writing.
Snabb Svensk: 1979 Volvo 242 GT
This 1979 Volvo 242 GT (chassis VC24245M1149741) reportedly had one owner until 2011, whereupon it was sold to a collector in New York and stored without being driven for a few more years. The current owner purchased it in 2013, and recently paid for a full engine rebuild that was completed in March of this year. The car also benefits from several suspension and interior upgrades, and looks to have been well-cared for over the course of its life. Find it here on eBay in Tampa, Florida with an $11k BIN.
