See Where They Rust: Super Crusty 1964 Porsche 356 SC
This 1064 Porsche 356 SC is heavily rotted throughout, including rockers, sills, and floors–all three of which are virtually non-existent at this stage of decomposition. An engine is available separately, though this car won’t be needing it anytime soon, even if it does retain its original transaxle, brakes, and suspension. Find it here on eBay in Geneva, New York with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader AMF for this submission.
887 Average Miles: As-New V12 and V8 Mercedes Benz W140 S-Class Pair
These two W140 platform S-class series cars are offered as a rather strange package deal, with an extraordinary asking price to go with their equally extraordinarily low mileage counts–1,499 for the 1992 600 SEL (VIN WDBGA57E9NA067156), and just 275 for the 1994 400SE (WDBGA42E4NA033756). Both are said to look, run, and drive like the virtually new cars that they are, though frustratingly no backstory is provided. Find them here on eBay in NYC for $300k OBO.
16K Miles & Highly Original: 1950 Plymouth
This 1950 Plymouth (chassis 12434642) displays an incredible 16,021 miles from new, is still riding on its original Goodyears, and comes with an abundance of paperwork from the original owner, whose family kept the car until it was purchased by the current seller in 2006. With one repaint and some very minor interior work, this 217ci L-head six-powered car is largely as-delivered some 66 years ago. Find it here on eBay in Clinton, Missouri with a $16k BIN.
Off the Road for 45 Years: Well Preserved 1964 Corvair Van Project
This 1964 Chevrolet Corvair Greenbrier Sportswagon (chassis 4R126S108109) is said to have been pulled off the road sometime in the early 70’s following an engine failure. The van sat in storage for many years, and was recently unearthed and cleaned off. The seller says it’s completely solid, and photos show a very well-preserved looking example with a nice patina. These Sportswagons are pretty scarce, and this one should be easy to resurrect thanks to good parts availability. Find it here on eBay in Modesto, California with no reserve.
