$450 OBO: 1965 Volvo 122S w/ Current Registration

a

This 1965 Volvo 122S two-door is said to have “run and drive” when parked three years ago, though it’s now shown on the street, and is said to need only master cylinders for the brakes and clutch to do so again–perhaps it still runs? The car is of course a mess, but looks to have complete glass and is probably the lowest priced workable project example anywhere on the planet. Find it here on Craigslist in Oakland, California for $450 OBO.

14K Mile 5-Speed: 1992 BMW 325i Cabrio

a

This 1992 BMW 325i cabrio is said to be completely original with only 14,200 miles from new. Photos are few and of so-so quality, but what can be made out does seem to be consistent with claims, particularly inside the cabin. The seller notes a recent timing belt and clutch cylinder replacement, and sale includes all original documentation as well as service records. Find it here on Craigslist in Edina, Minnesota for $23k. Special thanks to BaT reader Paul A. for this submission.

Mostly Original in Rose Metallic: 1963 Mercury Monterey S-55 Breezeway

63 S-55

This 1963 Mercury Monterey S-55 (chassis 3Z67Z515999) looks striking in Rose Metallic paint and is said to be almost completely original, including its Z-code 390, which has been rebuilt despite only 23k claimed original miles. Just under 4,000 were built in this configuration, and there can’t be many left in such nice condition–even the Breezeway retracting rear window still works. Find it here on eBay in Meridian, Idaho with reserve not met.

Three Rows & Four Wheel Drive: 1992 Mercedes Benz 300TE 4Matic

1992 Mercedes-Benz 300TE 4MATIC Wagon - 3rd Row - W124 E-Wagon

This 1992 Mercedes Benz 300TE 4Matic (VIN WDBED90EXNF191522) is an uncommon four wheel drive example that appears to be entirely stock and in nice shape. Said to run well and shift smoothly, the car offers room for seven and good all-weather traction, thanks to a disappearing, rearward facing third row and its partly Steyr-developed drivetrain. Find it here on Craigslist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for $7,500.
