Outcast: 1960 Hansa Lloyd Alexander Gasser
This 1960 Hansa Lloyd Alexander (or what’s left of it) has had its original 600cc twin swapped out for a Detroit Diesel 671 blower-topped 350 SBC. The seller says it runs and drives very well, adding “has some speed with it.” Sounds like an understatement. The car lacks track safety equipment, and hilariously the ad suggests it could be used as a daily driver. Find it here on eBay in Crestline, Ohio with reserve not met.
Fully Documented: Alpine White 1991 BMW M5
This 1991 BMW M5 is described as a well maintained, two owner example with ~118k documented miles and extensive service records. The E34 M5 was the last hand built M car, and many consider them to be the best of the six-cylinder super sedans. This one seems to have a lot going for it, including nice cosmetics and a low-key white over black color combo. Find it here on Craigslist in San Francisco, California for $18,500.
396/4-Speed Canadian Oddity: 1966 Pontiac Grand Parisienne Sport Coupe
This 1966 Pontiac Grande Parisienne is an interesting Canadian market model based on Chevrolet underpinnings, including a 396 and 4-speed–both are said to remain numbers-matching. Other desirable spec includes a Posi rear end as well as power options like windows, brakes, and antenna. Little else is noted in the seller’s written description, but the car is presented in what looks to be remarkable shape. Find it here on eBay in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada with reserve not met.
Not Hot Rodded: Complete & Stock 1953 Ford Anglia w/ Rebuilt Engine
This 1953 Ford Anglia Popular (chassis 33831/E949A) was purchased to be restored and is said to be 100% complete and stock. Shipped Stateside from its native England in the 1980’s, the car was then stored for nearly 35 years. Its tiny side valve four was rebuilt in 2014, and has had just 10 miles added since. Various other work has been performed, with receipts for over $6k, though the car still requires some cosmetic sorting, particularly the interior. Described as very solid with minimal rust, it’s rare enough to see one of these pint-sized English Fords, but even more unusual to spot one that hasn’t been heavily altered–hot rodders used to love ’em. Find this one here on eBay in Ouray, Colorado with a $10,500 BIN.
