Rare Pair: 1990 Volkswagen Corrado Shooting Brakes by Magnum
These two 1990 Volkswagen Corrados started life as standard G60 coupes, but appear to have been converted to shooting brakes by small tuning house Magnum shortly after rolling off the Karmann production line. The seller provides literally no pertinent written description for either car, though photos are pretty good–each one looks to be in excellent condition, with little evidence of use. The cars also appear to be identical except for wheels, and though the normal coupe is arguably the better looking of the two, these little wagons aren’t at all bad on their own. Find them here at Lux Sport (car one) (car two) in New Hyde Park, New York for $50k a piece.
Rare Stocker: Electron Blue 2000 Honda Civic Si
This 2000 Honda Civic Si is a real rarity, remaining as it does in nearly all stock condition with low miles and no signs of abuse. These sixth generation cars were the last to employ double wishbone suspension, and were very nice to drive even in base form–Si’s added re-tuned suspension, four wheel discs, and a 160 HP 1.6 liter twin cam four with an 8k RPM redline. This one’s said to have just 73k and change miles and appears to be well cared for. Find it here on Craigslist in Topeka, Kansas for $8,500.
Travco Conversion: 1965 Dodge A-100 Camp Wagon
This 1965 Dodge A-100 Camp Wagon by Travco (chassis 2062036615) is said to be quite original with just under 44k original miles. Looking very sharp in two-tone paint, the little cab forward van appears to retain its original interior fittings, while the interesting roof mounted A/C is not surprisingly inop. The 225ci slant-six is said to run great, and a dashboard shifted Torqueflite moves it down the road. Find it here on eBay in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with reserve not met.
Mountain Green Diesel Restomod: 1980 Volkswagen Rabbit Pick-Up
This 1980 Volkswagen Rabbit pick-up (VIN 17A0915385) has been fully restored by the seller, with work including a 1.6 liter turbodiesel swap, sans turbo. Further described as a rust free California truck, cosmetics look to be of a very good driver quality inside and out, and the seller says that it runs very well and reliably. Find it here on eBay in Barstow, California with reserve not met.
