Body on Frame Dinosaur: Well Kept 1994 Buick Roadmaster Wagon
This 1994 Buick Roadmaster wagon represents the end of an era, as these very large cars were the last full-sized, body-on-frame V8 dinosaurs offered by GM, alongside the mechanically similar Chevy Caprice. The seller says that this one has always been garaged, adding that its original paint shows no flaws and that bodywork is super-straight. A highly optioned car, its leather interior is holding up very well also, and mods are limited to widened C3 ‘Vette steelies and a dual exhaust–nice. 392 Hemi Cobra Killer: Heavily Modified 1956 Austin Healey 100
This 1956 Austin Healey 100 has been heavily modified in order to accommodate a 392 hemi, and the seller claims that build quality is excellent throughout. Further described as a “Cobra killer,” the motor has just been rebuilt and bored .020 over, which in combination with dual quads, a hot cam and more, should make for lots of power, all of which is sent to an open 12 bolt Chevy rear end via an unspecified Mopar 4-speed manual. Find it here on Craigslist in Sonora, California for $29,500, which also includes an enclosed trailer.
$4K 5-Speed Driver: 1979 Porsche 928
This 1979 Porsche 928 is a 5-speed car that’s said to run and drive well, and despite rough cosmetics, the seller further claims just 54k miles. A short is present in the taillight circuit, but no other electrical issues are noted. This could be a plus, as these cars often suffer faulty wiring, which has the potential to take nearly as much time and effort to fix as mechanical issues. There’s no word on rust, but if relatively solid and truly in good shape underneath the skin, it could be worth another look. Find it here on Craigslist in Woodinville, Washington for $4,200.
Rare AWD 6-Speed Wagon: 1991 Honda Civic RT4WD
This 1991 Honda Civic RT4WD is a rare AWD 6-speed example, and despite several dings, dents and scrapes, the interior remains in what’s described as “mint” condition, the seller further quouting excellent mechanicals and full functionality of all accessories. Mileage is 138k, which if properly taken care of should be nothing for an early 90’s Honda, and the ad claims no rust as well. Find it here on Craigslist in McHenry, Illinois for $3,950.
