Dual Quad Equipped: 1958 Plymouth Fury Project
This 1958 Plymouth Fury (chassis LP261268) was last running six years ago, although it appears to have been parked for longer. Claimed complete including trim, the car features a dual-quad 318 with correct air cleaners, push-button (Power or TorqueFlite) trans, and a factory 150 MPH speedometer. Find it here on eBay in Wauseon, Ohio with reserve met and fast bidding.
Bring a Berlinetta Boxer: 1980 Ferrari 512BB Flat Twelve
This Ferrari Tipo F102B flat-twelve came from a 1980 512BB, the final year before factory fitted fuel injection. A dry sump design, both block and DOHC heads are made of aluminum, and an oversquare bore and stroke of 82 x 78mm gave a total swept capacity of 4943cc. Power was rated at 335 HP & 6,200 RPM, and these carbureted versions produced one of the best sounds to ever come from a mid-engined Ferrari. BB stood for Berlinetta Boxer of course, though as opposed pistons share a common crank pin and don’t actually “box” each other, many refer to this design as a 180° V12, a layout that would continue through to the Testarossa and 512TR. There’s no word on whether this one still turns, but it does look complete. Find it here on Classic Driver in Malans, Switzerland for $143,866 USD. Special thanks to BaT reader AMF for this submission.
Last of the Prewar Relics: 1948 Oldsmobile Club Sedan Fastback
This 1948 Oldsmobile Club Sedan (chassis 760 19002) presents well in a soft green (said to be a factory Lexus color) over a claimed clean, original body. Refreshed from top to bottom, this Olds nevertheless has some finishing to be done under the hood. Powered by a L-head inline-six and a Hydramatic transmission, it comes with original owner documents and is said to drive very well. Find it here on eBay in Pleasant Grove, Utah for $26k OBO.
$50K in Receipts: TDI Swapped 1990 Volkswagen Vanagon Carat
This 1990 Volkswagen Vanagon Carat (VIN WV2YB025XLH076158) has been thoroughly refurbished and modified, with power now coming from a professionally rebuilt and swapped modern VW turbodiesel four-cylinder. Starting from what’s said to have been a rust and accident free shell, the van received quite a lot of cosmetic work too, including a respray in this BMW OEM shade of violet. Find it here on The Samba in Sechelt, BC, Canada for $23k USD. Special thanks to BaT reader Jon for this submission.
