That said, bodywork is quite rough, and floors are heavily rotted. Regardless, the seller believably claims to have well over the asking price already invested, and at the very least there should be lots of good parts here for a more structurally intact car. This 1978 Lotus Esprit S2 has undergone a recent restoration, which according to the ad sounds to have encompassed nearly everything but the original interior. The engine benefits from a recent reseal, the clutch is new, A/C blows cold, and the ad says that the car needs nothing and is ready to enjoy as-is.
