Not So Stainless: Fire Damaged 1981 DeLorean DMC-12
This 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 (VIN SCEDT26T1BD002542) had been a show car prior to a recent fire originating in the engine bay–a ruptured fuel line is believed to be the culprit. Damage extends to the cabin and destroyed the rear half of the car almost completely. Ironically, it was built in the ’90s on a reconstructed title and features a Chevy V6 with a Roots blower and manual gearbox, though their current condition is unknown. Find it here on eBay in Bowling Green, Virginia with no reserve beyond an unmet $5k starting bid.
Hardtop Swapped GNX Clone: 1987 Buick Grand National w/ No Reserve
This 1987 Buick Grand National (VIN 1G4GJ1176HP428960) left the factory equipped with T-tops but was converted to a hardtop during a respray eight years ago. The interior is also said to have been restored at some point, and the ad lists numerous other new parts and upgrades including the turbo, downpipe, exhaust and more. Mileage is quoted at 105k and the car is said to run and drive without any rattles. Find it here on eBay in Taunton, Massachusetts with no reserve.
99 Out of 100: CCCA Awarded 1925 Pierce Arrow Series 80 Roadster
This 1925 Pierce Arrow Series 80 roadster (chassis 807437) was recently cosmetically restored, the seller noting a respray in its original Venezia Blue, re-plated nickel, new upholstery and much more. It’s a beautiful car with grand proportions and some stunning detail work, and is said to have spent its entire life in Southern California. Fresh from a 99 out of 100 1st place score at the CCCA’s Grand National Meet, its six cylinder is claimed to have never been worked on, the seller adding that it “runs like it was made last week.” Find it here on eBay in Verona, Wisconsin with reserve not met.
Injected Twin Plug 528 Hemi Restomod Project: 1967 Dodge Dart
This 1967 Dodge Dart is offered as a partially complete restomod with a wild 528ci dual plug, injected, aluminum block hemi. The body has been extensively repaired and prepped with a mini-tubbed rear end, fiberglass bumpers and more, and the seller says that it’s super-straight, too. The engine, trans, and 4.10 Dana limited slip rear end all need to be “internally completed,” the hemi shown here fitted for mock-up only. The car still needs quite a bit of work, but with quality details like torsion bar to coilover converted front suspension, rack and pinion, adjustable cam-type motor mounts and much more, it sounds like a solid foundation on which to build a special car with an incredible motor. Find it here on eBay in Albemarle, North Carolina with reserve not met.
