911 Powered Outlaw w/ Strange Details: 1958 Porsche 356A
This 1958 Porsche 356A (chassis 102100) has been with the seller since 1989, during which time it’s undergone extensive modification to both bodywork and mechanicals. Initially fitted with a 2.7 liter 911 engine, it now runs a 3.0 liter from a ’79 SC that’s been modified with twin Webers and more. Suspension and brakes have been upgraded as well, and though obviously the custom visual touches won’t be for everyone, the car itself sounds fast and well put together, allowing the rest to be changed to suit the next owner’s taste over time. Find it here on eBay in Middleton, Idaho with no reserve beyond an unmet $37,500 starting bid.
Buy American: 1977 GMC Vandura 35 4×4
This 1977 GMC Vandura 35 (chassis TLG357U518434) comes equipped with a very rare, semi factory official, aftermarket 4×4 conversion and looks to be in pretty incredible condition throughout. The seller says it runs a new, correct 350 and mechanicals sound to be just as good as cosmetics. Paint is a recent, factory correct respray, and matches remarkably well preserved cargo area finish very well. We especially dig the black steelies and beefy tires, endowing the truck with an absolutely killer stance. Find it here on eBay in Ventura, California with reserve not met.
New Belts & Great Colors: $55K 1984 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole
This 1984 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole is described as a long-term ownership example fresh from a recent $7,500 full belt change and service. Further said to be very original, it looks fantastic in silver over black–the so-called “Boxer” paint scheme named for the 512BB, and sale includes records, tools, and books. The seller says it runs and drives beautifully, and mileage is quoted as 35k. Find it here on Craigslist in Los Angeles, California for $55k.
$3200 Runner w/ Working Pump: 1951 American LaFrance Fire Truck
This 1951 American LaFrance fire pumper features a strong running Continental R6602 straight-six and is said to be stored indoors. The seller adds that the water pump works well also, and though photos are limited, condition and completeness both look quite good for the asking price. Provided it drives without any major issues, this could be a very fun, inexpensive project for someone with enough space. Find it here on Craigslist in Cassopolis, Michigan for $3,200.
