Added Photos Update: Brooks Stevens 1941 Western Flyer RV
7/25/2016 Update: Just under two years after its first feature, this 1941 Western Flyer RV has resurfaced, this time around with some added photos and a slightly more detailed writeup. Designed by Brooks Stevens and one of three built, the coach was restored sometime prior to its last BaT highlight, and its grille, mirrors and several other features are all custom touches. Starting from a rotted shell, condition now looks to be very good inside, out, and underneath, and the modernized cabin looks like it could comfortably accommodate two. Power comes from an EFI Ford 460 and matching OD automatic, and braking is handled by four wheel discs. Find it here on eBay in Linden, California with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader Debra T. for this submission.
Super Sharp & All Original: 1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT
This 1979 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT (chassis U15HLFC5738) is said to be entirely free of rust and unmodified, too. The truck has lived in California its entire life with the exception of its first three months in Louisiana, wears original Dark Jade metallic paint and appears to have never even had its top removed. Very well optioned and powered by a 351M V8 backed by a 4-speed, the truck is presented with owner’s handbooks, service records, and other documentation. Finding an uncut second-gen Bronco in this shape is exceedingly rare, and the owner’s claims of museum quality really don’t seem like an overstatement. Find it here on eBay in San Francisco, California with a $43,500 BIN.
Unrestored & Matching-Numbers Driver: 1976 Jaguar XJ12C
This 1976 Jaguar XJ12C is a very rare pillarless, 12 cylinder coupe that’s been with the seller since the late 1990’s. Described as fully matching-numbers and unrestored, it will need new leather and redone wood, but overall condition looks and sounds to be quite good. An erratic hot idle will need to be traced as well, but as the seller points out, the market for these cars is really heating up, and will likely continue to rise. Find this one here on Craigslist in Edmonds, Washington for $20k. Special thanks to BaT reader David K. for this submission.
All Stock & Always Garaged: 1991 Honda Civic Si
This 1991 Honda Civic Si (VIN 2HGED736XMH008077) is described as an unmodified, meticulously cared for example that’s always been stored indoors during winter. Further claimed to be free of rust with no accident history, the car looks great as photographed and features all OEM Honda parts–even the battery is a dealer sourced item. Find it here on eBay somewhere in Quebec, Canada with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission.
