Massive Depreciation: $17K 2007 Mercedes Benz S600 V12 Biturbo
This 2007 Mercedes S600 is a twin turbo V12 model purchased by the seller with a blown, overheated motor. They claim to have spent over $10k “to make it as new mechanically,” with noted work including fitment of a replacement, 80k mile engine along with all accessories and electronics, as well as new turbo cooling line seals, lower control arms, fresh tires, refinished wheels and more. Described as a “total rocketship,” the car is absolutely loaded with tech and all of it’s said to work, too. Sold with a clear title, the seller adds that it has “no stories” and a clean history. NASCAR Homologation Rarity: 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix 2+2 Aerocoupe
This 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix 2+2 is one of 1,225 NASCAR homologation special Aerocoupes built for the 1986 model year. and according to the seller, is a single owner vehicle with 51k miles on the odometer. The car looks to be in decent driver level condition, and some detailing would likely improve things quite a bit. The seller quotes 53k and change miles, adding that the car runs well with full functionality. Find it here on Craigslist in Medina, Ohio for $12k.
$500 OBO: 1986 Jaguar XJS V12 Project
This 1986 Jaguar XJS-12 (VIN SAJNV5849GC132213) is sold as a non-running project without a title, but it looks to be complete with a very decent body. The car will roll and brakes still work, but the seller admits that it may prove to be “a much more demanding project car than most.” At the very least it could be given some sort of domestic V8 swap, though hopefully the original 12 cylinder can be brought back from the dead without too much trouble. 16V Turbo Hot Rod: 1975 Volvo 245 DL
This 1975 Volvo 245 DL runs a corporate 16 valve twin cam turbo four, T-5 5-speed, huge Brembos, and heavily upgraded suspension. The seller says it’s served as their daily driver and road trip car for the past three years, and they add that it’s ready to be driven anywhere in the country. Overall cosmetics are pretty decent, though paint is faded and there are some worrying rust spots below the rear side windows. Find it here on Craigslist in San Francisco, California for $9,300.
