Needy but Running: 1981 Ferrari 308 GTSi

This 1981 Ferrari 308 GTSi (VIN ZFFAA02A2B0034971) is said to run and drive “fairly well,” but as its neglected cosmetic condition suggests, the car is has its needs, including rust repair, electrical gremlin sorting, new belts and more. Still, the seller says it starts first time, every time, and depending on how bad the undercarriage is, the car may have potential–it is said to be free of lower door or rocker rust. Find it here on eBay in Albuquerque, New Mexico with no reserve beyond an unmet $32,500 starting bid.

Stored Seven Years: 1972 Lotus Elan +2 S130

1972 Lotus Elan +2S130

This 1972 Lotus Elan +2 S130 (chassis 0264N) was recently dusted off following seven years of storage, and the seller says its big valve twin cam still runs well with good oil pressure, no smoke and zero leaking from the water pump. All electrics excluding the driver’s window remain working as well, and overall cosmetics look quite nice, particularly inside the original and well kept 2+2 cabin. Find it here on Craigslist on Whidbey Island, Washington for $14k. Special thanks to BaT reader Eric B. for this submission.

Avocado & Butterscotch: 1973 Datsun 240Z on Libres

a

This 1973 Datsun 240Z is described as a clean driver, and wears a ten year old respray in original Avocado Green over complementary Butterscotch vinyl. Some metal patchwork was done by the previous owner prior to respray, and despite minor surface rust mentioned, the car is now claimed solid. Aside from a few correctable issues including a worn clutch, it certainly presents nicely and is further said to run and drive well without smoke or unwanted noises. Find it here on eBay in Ann Arbor, Michigan with reserve not met.

Rare Type 34 Shell: 1964 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

a

This 1964 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia is a rare and sought after Type 34 variant, of which just over 42,000 were built over an eight year production run ending in 1969. VW’s most expensive and luxuriously equipped car of the time, they’re now rare finds, and though this one is missing nearly everything but a transaxle and front suspension beam, the seller says its body is solid, and at this price it could make a good basis for a custom build. Find it here on Craigslist in Port Orchard, Washington for $1k. Special thanks to BaT reader Jason H. for this submission.
