55K Miles: Super Well Preserved 1981 Volkswagen Scirocco
This 1981 Volkswagen Scirocco (VIN WVWCA053XBK020146) is one of the best looking MkI’s we’ve seen in some time, and is said to remain nearly all original apart from new carpets, retrofitted Euro market bumpers and a few small paint touch-ups. A longtime SoCal resident until relocation to the Upper Midwest, it’s since been kept in a climate controlled garage and driven regularly, but not extensively–only 1k miles have been added in the seller’s seven years with the car, and it’s said to start easily and run and drive well. Find it here on eBay in Ada, Michigan with reserve not met.
Two Owners: 1984 Dodge Charger Shelby
This 1984 Dodge Charger Shelby (VIN 1B3BZ6481ED281194) is a claimed two car that looks unusually well kept, particularly as these fifth generation models have been rare in any form for a decade or more now. Though not the most loved cars when new, the passing of time and the small number of good remaining examples shines a different kind of light, and we’re simply pleased that another has escaped being thrashed, crushed or otherwise neglected and forgotten. Matching-Numbers & Complete: 1967 Jaguar E-type Roadster SI 4.2 Project
This 1967 Jaguar E-type roadster is a claimed one owner, matching-numbers car said to have been garaged since the 1980’s. It’s further described as complete including the rare, original factory hardtop, although the car lies partially disassembled in anticipation of restorative work. Sale includes replacement panels for rusty rockers, and its lovely silver-blue over blue color combination should definitely be recreated when the time comes. Find it here on eBay in Bayonne, New Jersey with a $63,500 BIN.
500E Lite: Sharp 1993 Mercedes-Benz 400E
This 1993 Mercedes-Benz 400E is described as well maintained, highly optioned, rust free and fully functional, including recently refurbished and ice-cold blowing A/C. These smaller V8 engined cars offered about 85% of the performance of their more exclusive, partially Porsche built 500E cousins, and this one looks excellently kept inside and out.
