All Original Running Project: 1947 Studebaker M5 Pick-Up
This 1947 Studebaker M5 one-ton pick-up is dusty and dented but complete looking, and the seller says it’s very solid to boot. It’s actually currently running as well, though the ad explains that the L-head straight-six “could use a carb.” Brakes will also need work, but these interesting old South Bend built trucks are rare in any condition, and the seller claims that this one remains all original. Find it here on Craigslist in Colorado Springs, Colorado for $4k. Special thanks to BaT reader Matthew C. for this submission.
Real-Deal Factory Lightweight: 1970 Alfa Romeo GTAm
This 1970 Alfa Romeo GTAm is presented as a legitimate factory built race car, and though details are scant, it looks incredible and is said to have been restored six years ago in Switzerland. Real-deal GTAm’s are super rare and don’t come up for sale very often, and this one appears to keep some very interesting company as well. Find it here on Classic Trader in Nuremberg, Germany for $396,410 USD.
Early Non-Oval Project: 1960 Volkswagen Beetle
This 1960 Volkswagen Beetle is an early non-oval window example that’s said to have had one previous owner. Further said to have been locally bought and driven, the car was put into storage in 1985 and seems to have remained there since, but its engine still turns freely and the seller claims no rust apart from that found on the battery pan . Find it here on Craigslist in Middletown, Kentucky for $5,750. Special thanks to BaT reader Shane R. for this submission.
Matching-Numbers & Complete: 1958 Jaguar XK150 FHC Project
This 1958 Jaguar XK150 FHC (chassis S834051) is offered as a matching-numbers and complete car with a free turning engine. Fresh out of storage, the seller admits to some sill rust, but says that the car remains repairable and mostly solid. Inside, carpets and leather seats (all four) look to remain in decent shape underneath accumulated dust, and if truly as structurally intact as claimed, the car should definitely be a good candidate for restoration. Find it here on eBay in McKinney, Texas with a $25k BIN.
