Super Rare Project: 1955 Powell Half-Ton Pick-Up
This 1955 Powell half-ton pick-up is one of only a thousand or so built in Compton, California before the company shuttered for good in 1956. This one looks quite rough and is minus its fiberglass nose section, but the missing L-head Chrysler six shouldn’t be too hard to replace, and though perhaps not from a financial standpoint, we think it’s still worth restoring. Find it here on Craigslist in Fairfield, Idaho for $6,500. Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission.
Tuscan Blue V8 Two-Door: Excellent 1980 Range Rover
This 1980 Range Rover (chassis 35856230) is a rare two-door example in particularly scarce LHD. Its original 3.5 liter V8 has been rebuilt with OEM parts, lovely Tuscan Blue shines brightly on top of excellent sheet metal, and the interior has been redone to a very nice looking and factory accurate standard. Additionally, all electrics are said to be in working order, and the seller also claims no rust. Find it here on eBay in San Diego, California with reserve not met.
Early Fiberglass Dry Sump Euro: 1976 Ferrari 308 GTB Vetroresina
This 1976 Ferrari 308 GTB (chassis F106AB19483) represents what many consider the model’s ultimate form–an early, vetroresina or fiberglass bodied example in European dry sump spec. It reportedly remains matching-numbers, and though both exterior and interior colors were changed in 1988, history is well documented, the seller claims no rust or accidents, and a recent, engine-out service included new belts. Tires are fresh as well, a compression check revealed excellent numbers across all eight cylinders, and ~99k recorded kilometers works out to just under 62,000 miles. Find it here on eBay in San Diego, California for $229k OBO.
No Reserve: 1967 Maserati Quattroporte
This 1967 Maserati Quattroporte (chassis AM1071202) had been in storage until recently, and remarkably it’s said to have started on the second turn of the key after sitting for two years. Cosmetics are what could be described as decent, though the car is said to have received much work prior to being put away, and sounds to have been a nice driver. It’s still drivable with a good clutch and brakes, but will need a full tune prior to adding any serious miles. Sale includes extensive documentation to new, and though not perfect, this one seems to have a ton of potential. Find it here on eBay in Montreal, Quebec, Canada with no reserve.
