No Reserve: 5K-Mile 2005 Ford GT
This 2005 Ford GT (VIN 1FAFP90S65Y401191) is a nicely preserved and fully optioned example with only 5,058 miles from new. It’s offered by a friend of the owner, and though hardly driven, the car has been modified with reliability, performance, and aesthetics in mind. It’s also said to run and drive flawlessly. Find it here on eBay in San Clemente, California with no reserve and bidding above $200k with more than a week left at the time of writing.
LS3/6-Speed Swapped: 2003 BMW 330i ZHP
This 2003 BMW 330i left the factory as a ZHP Performance Package equipped example, but has since been converted to make use of a GM L92 V8, Borg Warner T-56 6-speed manual, and many supporting mods. At first glance, aside from larger brake calipers and APEX ARC-8 wheels, the car appears almost completely stock–says the seller: “Other than engine noise and some vibration differences you’d be hard pressed to tell it isn’t stock sitting inside.” Find it here on Craigslist in Plymouth, Michigan for $27k.
Supercharged 57K-Miler: 1995 Mazda Miata M Edition
This 1995 Mazda Miata is one of 3,500 M Edition cars built for that year, with features including a standard Torsen limited slip diff, BBS wheels, power steering, adjustable headrest seats and more. This one wears M-onlyMerlot Mica over butterscotch colored leather, and the seller claims just one owner prior to their family acquiring it in 1998. The car reportedly has 57k miles, as well as a host of well chosen mods including a Jackson Racing supercharger, intercooler, upgraded suspension, brakes, and a Borla cat-back among others. The ad further reports that it’s been maintained meticulously over the past 18 years, with extensive records detailing everything including fuel fill-ups. Find it here on Craigslist in Fairfax, Virginia for $9,500. Special thanks to BaT reader David for this submission.
Rare Special Build: 1987.5 Audi Coupe GT
This 1987 Audi Coupe GT is one of 1,600 Special Build cars made, of which about roughly half are thought to have come to the US. Research shows that SB cars offered a higher compression, 130 HP 2.3 liter five-cylinder, a stouter gearbox, four wheel discs, and a few other, largely cosmetic changes. The model is particularly sought after among 80’s Audi collectors, and though this one has 211k miles, it looks like it’s been taken care of over the years. Find it here on Craigslist in Seattle, Washington for $5k.
