Centre Seater: 1981 Talbot-Matra Murena
This 1981 Talbot-Matra Murena has reportedly spent the majority of its life in a heated garage, has recently received a number of fresh mechanical parts, and now sounds to be ready for road duty. These mid-engined, GRP-bodied cars were largely based off the earlier Bagheera, and retained its steel space-frame design. Only produced for four years, not many are to be found roaming the highways any longer, but they are known as decent road handlers due to their relatively light weight. This one looks like one of the nicer we’ve seen. Find it here on Mobile in Leerdam, Netherlands for €15,000 (-$16,843 USD today)
1982 Ford Capri Mark III
This 1982 Ford Capri Mark III is being offered as a very nice driver-level car, and though not a lot of information is included in the ad, it does appear to be actively driven. With the exception of larger rubber over Panasport wheels, it also looks to be largely in stock condition. Nearly three million units of the basic design were produced over an 18 year span, and quite a few are still found on the roads of England, where they gained their largest following. Find it here on Mobile in Sint Truiden, Belgium for €15,000 ($16,843 USD today)
Sharp Survivor: 1969 Fiat 125
This 1969 Fiat 125 S is reported to have had only one owner prior to the seller, and both looks and sounds to be an unusually well kept survivor. It also sounds to be largely original apart from a few spot resprays, and the Lampredi twin cam tucked away behind its distinct four square eye nose is said to start easily and run well. Find it here on mobile.de in Deining-Tauernfeld, Germany for€9,500 euros (-$10,700 USD today)
Three-Window Flatty Project: 1934 Ford Coupe
This 1934 Ford coupe is said to be largely original steel, comes with a title, and represents one of the all-time great hot rod bodies–used as a foundation for cars such as the Pierson Brothers Coupe. Though its fenders and hood are new steel, the rest of the car, including the grille shell and running boards, are claimed to be original Henry. Far from a finished project, many areas will need attention, but the original frame holds a 21 stud Flatty, and the front axle has been dropped 4″ and fitted with ’40 juice brakes. Find it here on Craigslist in Louisville, Tennessee for $35,500.
