Brown Diesel Wagon: 1980 Peugeot 504

a

This 1980 Peugeot 504 station wagon is a diesel/automatic car that appears to be in better shape than initial impressions would suggest. Slightly tired and very brown paint plus bright sunshine do it no favors in photos, but the interior looks quite well preserved, and the seller says it’s in very good condition, citing a recently rebuilt Bosch injection pump as partial evidence. Find it here on Craigslist near Anaheim, California for $4,200. Special thanks to BaT reader Frank for this submission.

Well Preserved Five Cylinder Diesel: 1980 Audi 5000

This 1980 Audi 5000 diesel (VIN 43A0172966) is a third model-year example of the C2 platform that succeeded the earlier 100LS. Though also vailable with naturally-aspirated and turbocharged gasoline engines, this one packs an NA diesel five cylinder. It looks remarkably well preserved in photos, and the seller says that it runs and drives excellently with no rust. Find it here on eBay in Nashville, Tennessee, for $9k OBO.

Great Upgrades & Rare Colors: 1986 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 350/5-Speed

a

This 1986 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 (VIN 1G1FP87H3GN131753) has been with the seller since it was five years old, and underneath good looking bodywork with an unusual but attractive dark brown and gold color scheme, it packs a breathed-on, recently rebuilt 350 and 5-speed. Suspension has been upgraded quite a bit as well, and the seller says it’s free of rattles and lots of fun to drive. Find it here on eBay in Hamden, Connecticut with no reserve.

Four Wheel Drive Utility Cart: 1966 M274 Mule

This 1966 M274 Mule isn’t the first featured on BaT, though it might be the nicest, and its M1161A based trailer is icing on the cake. Repainted 12 months ago and fitted with a new canvas seat cover, fresh Coker tires, and an electric start, these little motorized wagons are outstanding off-road, and can haul up to half a ton. Roughly 11,000 were built between 1956 and 1970, but despite these fairly big numbers, good ones pop up for sale rather infrequently. Find this one here on eBay in Blythewood, South Carolina with no reserve beyond an unmet $9,500 starting bid.
