Chevy V8 Power: 1972 Opel Diplomat B
This 1972 Opel Diplomat B looks to be one of the nicer model types we’ve come across recently. These stately German cruisers strike a nice balance with their elegant but muscular lines, plush velour seating, and big V8 power. No details are given on the mechanical state of the car or its engine, but the photos seem to suggest that the car could be road ready with little to no prep work. Find it here on Mobile.de in Sottrum, Germany for €19,500 (-$21,932 USD today)
Restored Hatchback Rarity: 1977 Fiat 128 3P
This 1977 Fiat 128 3P has been restored with resprayed, Corvette Monza Red paint, a rebuilt engine and more. Described by the seller as imperfect but exceptional, the car is further claimed to harbor minimal rust, and condition does look quite good. Find it here on Craigslist in Tacoma, Washington for $7,500. Special thanks to BaT reader Glen A. for this submission.
Locked Syncro: 1984 VW Panel Van 5-Speed
This 1984 VW T3 is a four wheel drive Syncro panel van that’s been fitted with various off road upgrades such as a lift kit and locking differentials, while motivation is supplied by a 2.1 liter WBX engine. Other modifications include Recaro seats, Bilstein dampers while mileage is listed as 112k. Find it here on Craigslist in Woodbridge, New Jersey for $24,900.
Alan Mann Style: 1972 Ford MK1 Escort
This 1972 Ford MK1 Escort is a replica of an Alan Mann Racing car based on a 1300XL Escort. Looking period perfect in the traditional red and gold of the AMR team, the claimed rust free and unwelded body displays excellent paint and period style graphics. We like these cars with flares, but they were found in plenty of period competition events with stock fenders as shown here. Find it here on eBay in Wing, Buckinghamshire, UK for 25,000 GBP (~33,555 USD today).
