Original 283: 1960 Chevrolet Parkwood Station Wagon
This 1960 Chevrolet Parkwood is listed as a numbers-matching 2bbl 283/automatic car, and though far from a concours lawn ornament, the car does present as an attractive, usable driver. Originally finished Fawn Beige, an older respray in factory-offered Roman Red and Ermine White gives it a more interesting look, and the seller says it runs great and drives smoothly. Find it here on Craigslist in Sparta Michigan for $18,900.
Step-Down Drop-Top: 1951 Hudson Pacemaker Convertible
This 1951 Hudson Pacemaker isn’t offered with an overwhelming amount of written info or photos, but does appear to look quite promising as shown in the seller’s limited gallery. The interior is of an OK driver quality, but the exterior shows as very straight with mostly complete trim and good paint finish, and the seller says its all very solid. Though the car has sat idle for the past 15 years, its non-original L-head six is said to run well, and the convertible top is reportedly in working order as well. Find it here on Craigslist near Sanford, Maine for $26k.
Amaranth Red Metallic: Sharp 1983 Saab 900 Turbo
This 1983 Saab 900 Turbo looks wonderful in unusual and therefore well-suited Amaranth Red Metallic, and also appears to be in unusually good condition throughout. Turbo/5-speed spec in a three-door is pretty much ideal, and at 188k kilometers, mileage isn’t particularly high, but perhaps higher than the car’s looks would suggest. The seller does note that the car was “extensively revised” at some point, and perhaps they’re referring to a restoration effort. At any rate, it’s one of the sharpest pre-GM 900’s we’ve seen in some time. Find it here at Springbok Sportwagen in Großburgwedel, Germany for 12,800 euros (~$14,300 USD today).
Four Miles: 1973 Rokon RT340 TCR Automatic
This 1973 Rokon RT340 TCR (chassis RT340170) is described as an “authentic, original survivor” in “museum condition.” The bike has had just two owners, and was recently brought out of long-term hangar storage. Reported to start, run, and stop well, the odometer shows an incredible four miles, and though the seller is unable to confirm this figure, condition suggests it could be true. Find it here on eBay in Canton, Georgia with a $15k BIN.
