Rare Factory Supercharged Project: 1937 Cord 812 Beverly
This 1937 Cord 812 is a rare and restoration worthy supercharged car, and though described as original and complete (with bullet holes!), the blower is missing. Everything else does appear to be accounted for however, and the seller reports that they know the whereabouts of a correct supercharger. It’s Lycoming V8 will need a rebuild, and though the seller claims that parts for that job are available, getting its complex pre-selector FWD transaxle to work properly could be a challenge. The rewards are there for the taking however, and fully sorted this should be an absolute stunner. Find it here on Craigslist in Denver, Colorado for $39,950. Sharp Economy Model 5-Speed: 1983 BMW 528e
This 1983 BMW 528e is a 5-speed car that’s said to benefit from a 100 mile old top end rebuild, and photos show a very well preserved car inside and out. The seller claims to have every receipt from new, and adds that it’s served as their daily driver for a few years now. Further claimed to be in 100% working order, the economy-spec engine might not please everyone, but these are still very good cars that are becoming harder to find in anything near this condition. Lynndale Blue L79/4-Speed Project: 1967 Chevrolet Corvette
This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette (chassis 194377S101971) is claimed to be a matching-numbers 327/350 HP L79 car, and though it’s clearly been sitting neglected for some time and in need of a new frame, it does appear to be rather complete and restorable as-is. Lynndale Blue is always nice on C2’s, and the 4-speed and sidepipes are cool too. Find it here on eBay in Lancaster, Massachusetts with no reserve.
Bubble Top Driver: 1961 Pontiac Bonneville
This 1961 Pontiac Bonneville “bubble top” two-door hardtop represents one of GM’s very best designs from an era that many consider to have been its styling peak. The seller says they’ve owned it for 20 years, and though a few details like a correct (but nice) interior seem to be keeping its ask relatively low when compared to market norms, overall this one looks like quite a good car–in fact, the seller says it’s ready to be driven to Texas as-is. Find it here on Craigslist in Visalia, California for $21k.
