One Owner w/ Documentation: $15K 1991 Bentley Turbo R
This 1991 Bentley Turbo R is a claimed single-owner example with complete documentation and records since new, detailing everything including washes and leather treatments. The description doesn’t dive particularly far into details, but the seller also claims that every maintenance service was completed before scheduled, and that condition is superb inside and out. The original purchase price is given as over $200k, so depreciation has certainly had its way with this one. Find it here on Craigslist in Fort Worth, Texas for $15k.
Twin Weber-Fed Baby V8: 1962 Buick Skylark
This 1962 Buick Skylark (chassis 3I1588053) wears a repaint in its original Regal Black over claimed straight and rust-free sheet metal. The car is also described as lightweight and fast (relatively, we’re sure), with a matching-numbers aluminum 215ci V8 wearing dual Webers on an Offenhauser intake. The interior looks particularly good, and perhaps the only letdown here is the transmission–Buick’s Dual-Path Turbine 2-speed automatic, instead of the also-offered T-10 4-speed–perhaps a swap could be done later on. Find it here on eBay in Valley Center, California for $22,900 OBO.
$8K Driver: 1963 Chevrolet Biscayne Two-Door Post
This 1963 Chevy Biscayne two-door post is a great example of putting go over show. Though a bit rough with more than a few through-rust areas, it appears that a higher priority was placed on getting down the road than on cosmetics. New OEM-style seat covers dress the cabin, and a no-drama 350ci SBC passes power to a Super T-10 4-speed. Said to run and drive “pretty damn good,” the car looks like it could be a good blank slate, and could be driven around and enjoyed as-is in the meantime. Find it here on Craigslist in Moore, Oklahoma for $8k.
C36 AMG Swap: 1995 Mercedes-Benz E320 Wagon
This 1995 Mercedes-Benz E320 has been modified to make use of the engine from a C36 AMG of the same era. The seller summarizes the car as being turnkey, with essentially no needs other than a new owner–even A/C was properly converted. In addition to the swap, various 500E-sourced parts are mentioned, while some standard maintenance has also been addressed as well. Find it here on Craigslist in Norwalk, Connecticut for $10k.
