Restored Matching-Numbers Twins: 1971 Pontiac GTO Judges
This seller offers two 1971 Pontiac GTO “Judge” package-equipped cars in fully restored and very impressive looking condition. Both are reported to be factory Lucerne Blue cars, as well as matching-numbers and PHS documented. The vinyl roofed example is a 4-speed, while the other is an automatic–apart from these two differences (and a few other small ones like mirrors), the cars look essentially identical. Find them here on Craigslist in Doylestown, Pennsylvania for $100k a piece or $180k the pair. Special thanks to BaT reader Ken W. for this submission.
Rusty but Complete: 1963 Porsche 356 B Project
This 1963 Porsche 356 B is offered by an individual who sounds like the second owner, and describes it as 16k original mile car with a clear title. It’s very rusty but apparently just as complete, with quite a few good interior and exterior trim parts up for grabs. The seller includes a shot of the chassis plate, but we can’t quite make out the serial, and missing hubcaps are shown sitting inside the cabin. Glass looks greasy and dusty but also crack-free, and an engine remains installed under the deck lid. Find it here on Craigslist in the far north Chicago suburbs for $25k OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader Talbot for this submission.
Patina That Can’t Be Faked: 1957 Chevrolet Corvette
This 1957 Chevrolet Corvette is described by the seller as “99.4% all there and original,” and photos show a beautifully worn-in, cared for looking car. Sale includes a factory hardtop, and what sounds to be the original dual-quad equipped 283ci V8 is fresh from a rebuild–ditto the Muncie 4-speed. Find it here on Craigslist in Sacramento, California for $48k. Special thanks to BaT reader Glen A. for this submission.
No Reserve Project: 1973 Mazda RX-3 Wagon
This 1973 Mazda RX-3 wagon (chassis S124W115785) is a non-running project said to have last run at least 30 years ago. Understandably, the car looks a bit rough around the edge following years of sitting unused, but it does look to be largely complete and with very decent bodywork too–hopefully its pretty solid underneath as well. We think it’d be great restored to a mostly stock appearance with a street-ported 12A, 5-speed, LSD, discs and a slight ride height drop over slightly larger but unassuming steelies. Find it here on eBay in Edwall, Washington with no reserve.
