Engineless Coupe: 1970 Fiat Dino Project
This 1970 Fiat Dino coupe looks to be mostly complete minus a few very important parts, namely its lovely Ferrari-designed quad cam 2.4 V6 and matching 5-speed gearbox. The car shows evidence of sloppy body repair as well as some rust, but provided you’ve got Dino engine lying around, it could begin to make sense. Find it here on eBay in Miami, Florida for $15k OBO.
Final Year Highboy: 1977 Ford F-250 4×4
This 1977 Ford F-250 Custom Cab (chassis F26HR023121) is a final year “highboy” model, so-nicknamed for their unusually tall factory lift kit. Though described as highly original, in fact the truck has had a light cosmetic refresh, including respray of its factory two-tone colors. Built in San Jose, it’s been a lifelong California resident thus far, power comes from a 351M/4-speed/NP205 transfer case combo, and the seller says that it runs and drives great. Find it here on eBay in Canyon, California with no reserve.
Low-Mile Wagon: 1973 VAZ 2102 in Philly
This 1973 VAZ 2102 (chassis 0032832) was just recently imported from Russia where it was obtained from an estate sale. The car is described as being a one previous owner, 18k original mile example, and despite the four decades that have passed since it was built, the car looks remarkably well-kept. As a bonus, it even comes with a couple original manuals printed in Cyrillic, and super-cool period Soviet plates. Find it here on eBay in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for $11,500 OBO.
Ossi Blue & Matching-Numbers: 1968 Porsche 912 Driver
This 1968 Porsche 912 (chassis 12804828) is described as a matching-numbers car that benefits from a very recent engine rebuild. Wearing an older respray of excellent factory Ossi Blue, the car presents nicely overall, but a few small changes like adjusting the ride height and fitting more period seats would likely bring big rewards. In the meantime, the seller says it runs and drives great with just under 87k miles from new. Find it here on Craigslist in Augusta, Maine for $37,500.
