Sharp w/ 27K Miles: 1983 Honda Civic
This 1983 Honda Civic is a well-preserved second generation example with a claimed 27k miles. The ad’s description is quite short, but the seller suggests that the car would make a great commuter, and that the engine has many more miles of service left in it. Condition looks excellent from top to bottom, with most of the car appearing like that of a nearly-new machine. Find it here on Craigslist in Auburn, Washington for $7,500.
Period Hot Rod: 327/340-Swapped 1958 Chevrolet Corvette
This 1958 Chevrolet Corvette (chassis J58S100761) is fitted with a 340 horse 327 and matching 4-speed from a ’63 Stingray, as well as traction bars, slotted mags and a few other period hot rod touches. Put into storage a bit more than 20 years ago, it retains decent cosmetics throughout, and the seller says it’s running with good brakes as well. Find it here on eBay in Manchester, Maryland for $39,900 OBO.
Daily Driven Shooting Brake: 1973 Volvo 1800ES
This 1973 Volvo 1800ES is described as a well-maintained example, the ad further claiming that just about everything remains in good working condition. Just 8,000 of these shooting brakes were manufactured over a brief two year period, and from photos, this example looks to be unusually nice. Green over natural brown leather is an excellent color combination, and the seller even describes it as a daily driver. Find it here on Craigslist in Burbank, California for $22,500 OBO.
Lowered L-Head Six Shoebox: 1950 Ford Tudor
This 1950 Ford Tudor is said to have had a full restoration in the 1980’s, and has since been serviced regularly and driven on a regular basis. Interestingly, this shoebox is powered by a 226ci L-head six rather than the more sought-after flathead V8, but that’s arguably one of its cooler aspects. Jet black looks perfect here, especially with a well-judged lowering. Said to have driven 600 miles round-trip while knocking down a respectable 19 MPG at 65 MPH (with no oil use), the seller further claims that it can driven anywhere. Find it here on eBay in Glenwood, Missouri for $18,500 OBO.
