Unusual Four-Seater: 69K-Mile 1995 Mercedes-Benz S600
This 1995 Mercedes-Benz S600 is a range-topping V12 model with 69k claimed original miles. The seller sounds to be in possession of the original window sticker, and quotes a $133k MSRP–nearly $210k in today’s money. The car looks to be in outstanding condition, and as the seller points out, its rear reclining bucket seat option is both rare and desirable. Find it here on Craigslist in Framingham, Massachusetts for $12,500. Special thanks to BaT reader PGN for this submission.
Bertone Bodied TD: Very Rare 1955 Arnolt MG
This 1955 Arnolt MG (chassis 293) is of one of just 103 built over a short two or three year period, 67 of which were coupes–the remaining 36 were convertibles. The seller says that the car remains unmolested and original as it left the factory, and though cosmetics on top are quite good, they admit it will need work underneath. It runs on an auxiliary fuel tank, which in combination with needy brakes sounds like a telltale of a car that’s sat for some time. Essentially a standard MG TD underneath, Arnolt’s wore elegant bodywork designed by Bertone (father and son) in conjunction with Michelotti. Find this one here on eBay in Monte Carlo with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission.
26K Documented Miles: 1981 Citroen CX Athena
This 1981 Citroen CX (VIN VF7MAMP0006MP5956) is a low-range Athena model described by the seller as a rust-free, 99% functional California-sourced car with 26,250 documented, original miles. Said to start easily and run and drive like new, condition looks to be very good inside and out, and the seller claims to have recently dropped their asking price. Find it here on Craigslist in Auburndale, Florida for $10,750. Special thanks to BaT reader Jim J. for this submission.
Rare NAPCO 4×4: Restored 1959 Studebaker 4E 3/4 Ton
This 1959 Studebaker 4E pick-up (chassis E11D13517) is equipped with a period NAPCO 4×4 conversion, and looks highly correct despite having been treated to a rotisserie restoration. Stude trucks are pretty rare in any form, particularly in 4WD like this ex-factory traveling demonstrator, and it presents beautifully in photos. Find it here at Mecum Auctions who will oversee its sale in Anaheim, California this November 17-19. Special thanks to BaT reader Kyle K. for this submission.
