500 Cubic Inch Orange Grove: 1975 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible
This 1975 Cadillac Eldorado convertible (chassis 6L67S5Q203669) wears a rare, factory-correct triple orange color scheme, including paint, top, and leather interior. It’s a fantastic, 100% era-appropriate mix, and the car looks to be in excellent condition throughout. Mileage is given as just 61,580, and power comes from Caddy’s massive 500ci V8 driving the front wheels. Find it here on Craigslist in Napa, California for $36k. Special thanks to BaT reader Devon C. for this submission.
Rotary Swap Destined: 1980 Mazda GLC 5-Speed
This 1980 Mazda GLC is an uncommon find in any shape these days, and the seller reports that it’s all original, unmodified, and in excellent running and driving condition. Cosmetics aren’t great, but are far from rough, and as the basis for a rotary swap, this Great Little Car would be hard to beat. Find it here on Craigslist in Rancho Cucamonga, California for $3,200 OBO. Special thanks to BaT reader Morris F. for this submission.
$7500 Firm: Scruffy 1992 Mercedes-Benz 500E Project
This 1992 Mercedes-Benz 500E is a somewhat scruffy looking project, but is also among the least expensive examples of the partially Porsche-built, factory flared, corporate hot rod that we’ve seen in some time. Said to have been parked under a carport in fully functional condition in 2012, the car is now dusty and dirty but apparently complete, and the seller seems to suggest it needs only minor sorting prior to being put back on the road again. Find it here on Craigslist in Metairie, Louisiana for $7,500 firm. Special thanks to BaT reader Mark G. for this submission.
$9K Early Driver: 1957 Citroen 2CV in Oregon
This 1957 Citroen 2CV seems to be a realistically priced example, and comes with some neat, relatively early production features like rearward-opening front doors, hammock-style seats, and one of the most rudimentary dashboards ever fitted to a car built in large numbers. A Forest, Belgium-built example, the seller notes that the car wears a new roof, adding that it runs and drives well. Find it here on Craigslist in Sandy, Oregon for $8,975. Special thanks to BaT reader Harris L. for this submission.
