$52K Engine-Out Service: 1987 Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV

a

This 1987 Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV (VIN ZA9CA05A7HLA12113) is an injected, four-valve cylinder head model originally delivered to the US with Euro-spec bumpers, according to the seller. Its color is reported to have been a special order as well, the ad noting that it now runs and drives very well following over $50k in engine-out work. At about 45k, mileage is on the higher side for a Countach, but pricing is about $100k lower than is now typical. Find it here on eBay in Champlain, New York for $260k OBO.

Mystery Delivery Truck: 1950’s Divco?

DIVCO TWIN HELMS

This vehicle is believed to be a late 1940’s or early 1950’s Divco model, though we’ve never seen one with this type of bodywork. The description claims that it runs and drives, further noting new brakes, a rebuilt carb and fresh tires. Condition doesn’t look too great, and though sourcing replacement parts will undoubtedly be a tall order, it’s still cool see one of these in running condition. Find it here on Craigslist in Wisconsin for $20,500.

Great in Gray: Coil Sprung 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham

This 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham (chassis 5770089009) is described as number 81 out of a total 704, all built by hand and priced accordingly. It also appears to have seen some degree of restoration based on condition. Though the description doesn’t dive too far in regarding details, it is known that conventional springs have replaced the original and often problematic air suspension, and that many of its original accessories like drinks tumblers, leather notebook, and perfume atomizer are missing. It’s a spectacular car regardless. Find it here on eBay in Costa Mesa, California for $80k OBO.

Porsche Six Swapped: 1984 Volkswagen T2 Doka

d

This 1984 Volkswagen T2 Doka was reportedly imported to the US when just a year old, and retains most of its original Signal Orange paint. Apart from some limited, superficial sounding bubbling, the seller further claims no rust, as well as no accident history. What really interests us is the ’81 911 SC engine fitted in back, which according to seller (and owner of seven years) runs very well. Find it here on Craigslist in Prescott, Arizona for $34k. Optionally, the seller will include an ’85 911 3.2 and matching 5-speed transaxle for $44k, or pull the current engine and sell as a shell ready for swapping at $27k. Special thanks to BaT reader Eric B. for this submission.
