Melted Convertible: 1960 Chevrolet Corvette

a

This 1960 Chevrolet Corvette (chassis 00867S102393) was once a convertible 4-speed with what looks like a 230 HP single four-barrel 283, but is now a big melted mess after burning in the seller’s shop. It’s said to have been fully restored prior, with both soft and hardtops as well as the original engine–fortunately the frame and drivetrain are believed to be salvageable, though sadly the seller lost all of their tools and is no longer equipped to work on it. Find it here on eBay in Fort Valley, Georgia with no reserve and a high $102.50 bid at the time of writing.

Mild Custom Corsa: 1966 Chevrolet Corvair

1966 Corvair Corsa Coupe Hardtop (1 of 7000 Produced)

This 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa is a mild restomod featuring a slight ride height adjustment, big, modern wheels and Recaros pulled from a Cadillac Catera. On offer by a Corvair collector, the car looks to be very straight and tidy throughout, and is described as a rust-free California-sourced example. Sale includes the original plates, as well as all removed stock parts. Find it here on Craigslist in Chesapeake, Virginia for $11k. Special thanks to BaT reader Bob G. for this submission.

Unusual FWD Roadster: 1937 BSA Scout Project

This 1937 BSA Scout (chassis E1178) is an unusual and fairly rare front-wheel drive sports car, though being a Series 4 example it does have a few more conventional features missing on earlier examples, including proper front brakes–older Scouts made do with a simple differential brake tucked behind the grille. The seller says it was found stored indoors earlier this year, presumably as part of a British collection–note the old Bristol parked adjacent. Its little four-cylinder still turns freely, but no starting attempts have been made. Overall condition looks quite decent, and the car appears to be very complete as well. Find it here on eBay in Fort Myers, Florida for $6,500 OBO.

Great Colors: Restored 1967 Buick GS 400

This 1967 Buick GS 400 (chassis 446177B112626) is a recent restoration that’s said to retain its original bodywork, floor and trunk panels. The car looks sharp inside, out and underneath, but its colors are probably our favorite part–deep black with redline tires over a blue/green interior is a wonderful mix, further aided by a factory center console with tach and optional headrests. Its original 400ci V8 is retained, and has been rebuilt with a few choice upgrades as well. Find it here on eBay in Astoria, New York with reserve not met.
